This was acceptable as the product was mature and functioned well. The desktop versions required purchasing updated versions every three years plus annual and monthly fees for the payroll. Intuit staff have been patient and have tried to be helpful but they are dealing with an inferior product and the conversion of data, particularly payroll, is faulty. The cost to our non profit to make this conversion is over $3,500 and the result is not up to the quality of the Desktop Premier. Our accountant has billed 45 hours over a 2 week period to get the program to almost work properly. The conversion to the Online Advanced has been an expensive nightmare. We have used Quickbooks Desktop Premier for 8 years with the add on payroll. I have already lost too much of time and energy by submitting my issue again and again and making complaints again and again. I do not know what I will have to do to resolve my issue and retrieve my company. Sometimes agents fail to verify me other times they sent my other customers email by error. On QBO online support agents request I have filled form for changing primary admin which I never wanted 3 times, just to get access to my company. Writing to the qbo agents online support and emails but the account is still locked out and they say it cannot be restored which I fail to understand. If there is a threat we simply change the password and continue. I have been using many accounts with others and never face such threat with my data. There were no security issues in the first place. I cannot login my account since 12th June 2023 Firstly I do not know why my account is on lock out when everything was working fine. Nothing but frustration and wasted time! If I could give zero stars I would. Intuit has no support at all if you have issues linking two lap tops together so that they can share the Quickbooks data file. Being a small company I do not have an "IT" department for tech issues. Well, in calling tech support to get support linking my two lap tops I was told that they do not have tech support for that issue and suggested that I contact an IT department from within my company. I was told that more than one person could be using desktop at the same time and the data would transfer over from one lap top from the other in a shared file. I finally switched back to Quickbooks desktop pro plus 2023 and bought a multi user license. I could not do payroll, pay an invoice or anything else. After eight days of frustration the only thing in Quickbooks online that I could do was enter a daily receipt manually. I had to call support multiple times and wait for call backs. The data did not transfer over correctly. I signed up for Quickbooks online from Desktop and encountered nothing but problems and wasted time. These experts are not adhering with specific time interval to give the valid assistance to their customers.No tech support to link lap tops for multiuser mode of Quickbooks. If the existence of problem is out of capacity, then you would not forget to get the smooth interaction of QuickBooks online support. Generally, it is the common thing the normal QuickBooks pitch has resolved through self practice. By the way, some series of technical problems has been outline in it. Nonetheless, no one has the power to stop the unexpected event in it. A great number of people hypotheses that no problem arise with the administration of forthcoming time. It is expectation of many customers that problem cannot happen with this accounting and finance software. When I was finished downloading I had to open a different account of which I don't need. When I downloaded 2020 version I had to go to my email to get the license number and when I returned to finish installing it I had to put all my information in again including my credit card information.
